Bewitched by Bella's Brother

When I started Bewitched by Bella’s Brother by Amy Lane, I had a feeling I was in for a treat. I’ve learned from reading some of her other novels that she really is the master at writing a sensual and beautifully told love story between her heroes. Needless to say, I found myself becoming enamored by not only her amazing heroes, but all of her characters in this book.  This was a very fast-paced, fun-filled read and I finished it in one setting.
Sebastian Craig has got a plan to never grow up. He and his best friend, Bella, will stay rent free with her brother, Asa for the summer. In return, they might help around the house a little and look out for Asa’s young son. Both Sebastian and Bella plan to save their money up and move onto their second doctorate at another college for the fall semester. Fortunately for Sebastian, things don’t always go as planned. He is totally blown away by the gorgeous, responsible, and seemingly quiet, Asa. Now, the more Sebastian is around Asa, he starts looking at his life with a different perspective and soon is confused about whom he is and what he wants to be.
I loved this book! It’s a fun, sexy and lighthearted read that left me with a happy heart by the end of the book. Sebastian, Asa and even Bella go through a lot of character development and deep soul searching as the book progresses. I loved the chemistry between Sebastian and Asa, but I also loved how they all bonded together, stood by each other and ended up having an amazing family.
Ms. Lane has a very informative website. It’s full of Amy’s trademark humor and lots of information about her other works. Here is the link if you are interested:

Book Blurb for Bewitched by Bella's Brother

Sebastian Craig and Isabella Bryne have been best friends for five years in the Neverland of academia, and that's where they're planning to stay. So when Bella's brother, Asa, offers them a rent-free summer in his gorgeous home before they move to their next college and degree, they jump at the chance. It looks like a good deal at first... but there's more to Asa than meets the eye, and Sebastian finds himself suddenly hip-deep in complicated, grown-up problems and the frightening, bemusing prospect of having a family that will miss him when he's gone.

When the best summer of his life finally ends, Sebastian has to make a difficult decision between staying in perpetual childhood forever, and facing adulthood—with all of its joys and fears. It seems that when Sebastian and Bella came up with a master plan for the future, they didn't count on Sebastian being bewitched by Bella's brother.
