Blue Notes

Keeley Chambers is a junior in college and a music prodigy on the piano. She finds a way to channel all her secrets and haunting past into the notes of a song. When she gets assigned another piano player to mentor, Keeley is thrust into a world that is not like the hermit one that she has been living. During an impromptu night out, Keeley meets the show stopping performer Adelaide, the girl who she is supposed to mentor. She also runs into the painfully gorgeous Jude, who is cheeky and mysterious enough to bring Keeley out of her shell. A shell that she has kept well hidden in for years due to her past and not wanting anyone to know about it. But as Keeley gets more involved with Jude, her past keeps creeping back up to bite her.

This book was a tantalizing and fun read. There was a great mix of mild suspense, hot romance and interesting characters that kept me reading well into the night. I loved Keeley and I felt her dark past as it haunted her throughout the book. I wanted to help comfort her, and I was overjoyed when Jude came onto the scene and provided her with a chance to stop hiding from her past and to start building her future. The supporting characters were funny and well plotted out. I was not only obsessed with the main story, but I also wanted to know what was going to happen to the supporting characters.

I loved Blue Notes and I recommend it to anyone that is enjoying the New Adult genre. This is a great book and I look forward to what comes next from this author.
