Searching for Perfect

Searching For, #2

Searching for Perfect is a great story. The romance sections were a little out there for me. Via word usage and content this book is closer to erotic romance vs. contemporary romance, women's fiction.

I really loved Kate and thought her love interest was an a**. He really did have his head stuck where the sun doesn't shine. But, the two main characters as well as a side character grow into their own by the end of the story. I recommend this to someone who is comfortable with word usage such as cum, pussy and the like. For me it just didn't work. Although I loved the story the romance was just a little too explicit for my tastes.

Story/Plot: The story and plot were pretty good. I really loved the story within these pages. I loved how there was no insta-love and that it did take the characters a while to fall in love. I think the author could have done a little more with the ending. As it seemed that it ended a little fast.

Romance / Sexiness: The romance portion of this book was way out there. For a book that is under Contemporary/Women's Fiction Romance the sexiness romance of this one is a little closer to light erotica. It just doesn't match up with others of its kind. I think the sexual sections of this one were a little farfetched and boarded on disgusting.

Setting / World: The world and setting is in our time. The book had a very light paranormal feel to it, which made the story just a little bit better.

Characters: The characters are another great thing in this book. They were all fully formed and complete.

Age Group: This one is for mature readers as it is more of an erotic romance.

Love Triangle: Nope the love in this one is pretty straight forward.

Cliffhanger: Nope but the ending is very cute and it kind of made me wish that the entire book was in the same POV.
