“The Dragon’s Staircase” is a mind boggling adventure that will keep you guessing until the last page.
Agent Michaels is a pain in the ass and I really wanted to punch him, more than a couple times. When a child witnesses something that could put his life in danger, Alexa is called in to help. I love her relationship with her three brothers. You can tell they really care and it amuses me greatly when they try to mother and order Alexa around. She gets a kick out of it as well.
Craig was an interesting character. Right off the bat he fascinated me. He’s so full of life, though many might not say that. He enjoys what he does even though it could potentially be dangerous. When another case comes up Alexa gets slapped in the face by a past she thought long finished and the danger begins.
Authors McKenna Grey and Everly Archard did a great job writing “The Dragon’s Staircase”. At no point was I confused at what was going on and they kept me on the edge of my seat. Alexa and Craig were both interesting characters who were dealing with things others might. Their situations were real and it helped me connect better with them. I loved watching their relationship develop through “The Dragon’s Staircase” and I hope to read more about them.
At the end of the book you get a description of the second book in the Kyndall Family Thrillers, “Shadow of The Forgotten”; which involves Alexa’s twin brother Jordan. I very much hope to get a chance to read this one as well and see where this new series will take me.
From two award-winning authors comes the first riveting novel in the KYNDALL FAMILY THRILLERS, a romantic suspense series filled with spine-tingling thrills and alluring romance.
A woman haunted by her past.

When a child witnesses a brutal slaying, Alexa’s life becomes intertwined with Craig Pierson’s, a man with his own haunted past. They join forces, only to discover they must put everything on the line in a pulse-pounding struggle to protect and survive.
A killer closing in.
Nestled in a small town in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, The Dragon’s Staircase is an intriguing, nonstop adventure that will keep readers enthralled from start to finish.
