Target Engaged

Delta Force, #1

I swear this series just gets better and better. M.L. Buchman has become one of my favorite authors and his books just amaze me. Not only do they take me to another world but it’s understandable, the plot is clear and you can still expect some surprises. Finding out that Carla had a familial relationship with one of the characters in SOAR was mind boggling and I’m not going to spoil it by saying who. Being in Delta Force is a huge accomplishment and boy does the woman have balls. Carla takes everything that’s thrown at her and more, if anything she’s SOAR on steroids. The fact that she got to meet and talk to Michael was sweet and I really loved that M.L. threw that in there. Make no mistake, the training was hard as hell, it wasn’t an easy ride but then again it’s Delta, never easy.

Kyle was fascinated by Carla from the moment she swaggered onto Delta territory and knocked a guy out for being an idiot. Not only that but they work well as a team and unit. They have each other’s back and that will prove to be essential later in the book. Carla and Kyle are just as strong as the other characters in SOAR and I’m glad I got to see some of my favorite people in Target Engaged. Even though it’s a new series it’s still in the world of SOAR and I think it’s great. I highly recommend this book.
