I have always found Margaret fascinating and in No Easy Target I got a chance to get to know her better. She is truly amazing and I loved reading every bit of her and her adventures. There are some crazy parts in this book, One of the one’s that caught my attention was with a very stubborn tiger, named Zaran. Then you enter John Lassiter and things get even more crazy. Neal was an interesting character as well but Lassiter took the cake. When he first comes on scene you think of him as an evil arrogant bastard as the book goes on you see more of who he really is.
Salva and Nicos were the perfect villains and I just wanted them both dead, immediately. Margaret was a lot calmer with them then I would have been. As I read the book my hate for them only grew and I really just wanted to be in the book so I could teach them a lesson. Iris Johansen has always been one of my favorite author’s and she did not disappoint in No Easy Target. This is a book I highly recommend.
When an enemy from her past threatens to return, Margaret Douglas must go on the run. But danger is in hot pursuit, and Margaret finds herself matching wits with a man who refuses to be stopped. Turning from the hunted to the hunter, Margaret must use everything she has to not only survive, but defeat evil and prove she’s No Easy Target in this high-octane thriller from #1 New York Times bestselling author Iris Johansen.
