Amanda knows how to spin a story and I’m glad I continue to read her stories.
I was excited when I read the back cover of “Never Missing, Never Found”, but I was a little weary when I got the book and realized it’s the same author that wrote “Damage Done”.
“Never Missing, Never Found” was a little slow in the pacing, but it was a good book. I liked the fact that Amanda did a past a present thing that gave better understanding into what was going on. I don't really understand the Skywoman and Blade part that happened, it was a little confusing but other than that “Never Missing, Never Found” was a good read.
Scarlett is back with her family after having escaped from her captor and it’s crazy. She starts a new job but a girl, Katharina, at her work gives her confusing and strange feelings. Things get complicated and just when you think you know what’s going on, bam things change.
The ending was really something and I’m not going to give any spoilers, but WOW. The relationship between Melody and Scarlett is really tense and full of darkness, but you understand better as the book unfolds. That being said the whole family is strange and has their own set of problems and family secrets.
A juicy thriller about a girl who returned from the missing. . . . Hand to fans of We Were Liars, Bone Gap, and Vanishing Girls.
Some choices change everything. Scarlett chose to run. And the consequences will be deadly.
