"Love Over Lattes" was an amazing contemporary romance book that I enjoyed reading greatly. Valentina is an awesome mother who is just trying to do what she can for her son, Max. Taking care of a kid, working and going to school can take a tole but she does it with grace and love. There were so many times she could have given up but she stood strong and did what she had to, to make sure her son had a roof over his head.
Cole is dealing with demons of his own. His ex-wife is a walking nightmare and I couldn't stand her from the start. She really is a controlling woman who hates to lose. I felt so bad for Cole and what she was putting him through.
Seeing Cole and Valentina together was cute. From the moment she saw him in the shop she was mesmerized by him. Her parents are amazing too, I love how supportive her mother was.
I love the fact that the author, Diana A. Hicks, put in discussion questions at the end of "Love Over Lattes". It gives you a different perspective and makes you think more clearly about what happened. There are 5 questions in total and each has about 2-3 parts.
