Love Burns Bright

A Lifetime of Lesbian Romance

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Love Burns Bright. It's like slow burn erotica that captures all the senses, stories with emotional bonds (what romance is all about) and old love that still feels the magic of new and fresh love. I really loved this one because it had some of my favorite authors and these stories took place after some of their standalone books. It was like getting a glimpse of the after story, the things that you don’t get to see when the story finishes. Some of the stories include:

Rebekah Witherspoon beautifully tells an epic tale of love over 40 years. She takes Eileen and June from age 10 to age almost 60. It spans from Mississippi 1956 to New York City.

She also gives us a whimsical piece of Christmas nonsense when two women are separated by family obligations. One goes to Vail and the other goes home to Mother.

Radclyffe treats her long time readers to a breathtakingly passionate story of Pearce and Wynter and their life after the last page of her 2006 novel TURN BACK TIME…which I absolutely loved. Pearce and Wynter have always been one of my favorite characters groups and I was extremely happy to read more about them.

D Jackson Leigh has a terrific story of 60 year old Mick and 45 year old Sophie celebrating 25 years together and putting doubts firmly to bed.

Larkin Rose tells the story of good girl Sam being the one to satisfy bad girl Lacy.

These were some awesome stories and I was also introduced to some new authors, which I love. The stories were heartwarming and not only made you believe that love could last through the ages but that it does exist.
