Her Secret, His Surprise

Cass is a strong, independent woman and a sweet protective mother. She was disowned by her cold-hearted father when she was 18. So independence comes naturally to her. She ran away twice before that, once when she was 4 and the second time when she was 15. She had a one night stand that wound up giving her her daughter Olivia. The father, Logan is undercover at her job two years later. But he can’t tell her that. Someone in her company is selling military secrets and its Logan’s job to figure out who.

Logan has never forgotten that night with Cass and seeing her again after two years throws him for a loop. Having her as his boss is another new thing for him. He’s her new administrative assistant. The attraction is still there but he has a job to do. That is until he sets eyes on a beautiful baby girl and realizes that he’s a father.

I found it pretty funny how Logan ended up being the grandson of the old lady next store. Cass, I have to say I love her. She’s been thrown crap for most of her life and instead of laying down and taking it she said, “screw this, I will make it out on top.” These two had a lot of things to overcome, but in the end they worked it out.

Logan Alexander hasn’t forgotten the night he spent with Cass two years ago, but he never expects to end up undercover as her assistant. His job saves lives—like it should have saved his brother—and he can’t afford complications.
