Hard to Hold

This book was so sexy and adventurous. It kept me on my toes and on the edge of my seat until the very end. Anna and Nick have some major problems that they deal with and on top of that they have bullets flying at them left and right. Ana has made the decisions that she wants a baby so she gets artificially inseminated form an anonymous donor and that’s where all the trouble begins. The baby's father is this big time drug lord that no agency can get their hands on. He wants to protect Ana and keep her around until she gives birth to his heir. He is under the assumption that the baby is a boy. I found it really funny when the baby wound up being a little girl she will soon call Elle.

Nick is not going to let Ana deal with this by herself, he’s going to help her whether she likes it or not. He has always been her protector since they grew up in the foster system together. He was a big part of them getting a divorce when he accused Ana of having an affair when she had actually just had a miscarriage and wanted love and maybe a hug from him. He’s is part of this elite group and was one of their best assassins. Even though he hides it from himself, he still loves Ana and he will do any and everything in his power to make sure that she is safe. This book has running, bullets, steamy hot sex, tears, anger, passion, grief and heartache. I highly recommend this book.

Anna Key Marshall is about to get what she’s always wanted: a baby. Granted, it’s through a sperm donor instead of her ex-husband, but you can’t have everything. She has no idea why someone wants her dead, but she’ll do whatever it takes to protect her unborn child—even if it means turning to her ex, the Black Ops specialist who broke her heart.

He’d like nothing better than to walk away, but with her life on the line, he has no choice but to do what he does best—protect her at all costs.

As old wounds resurface, Nick begins to doubt his version of what went down with Anna so long ago. And he begins to believe they might have a second chance together. But with Anna’s would-be killer on the loose—it will take the full force and fury of his protective instincts, fueled by a powerful love he can’t leave behind, to hold on to the woman he still loves.
