Every Dark Corner

The Cincinnati Series, #3

Karen Rose is another author whose books I love. They may be different series but in each one you catch a glimpse of characters from another book. I absolutely loved seeing Dani again, I first met her in “Closer Than You Think” and wanted to know more about her. “Every Dark Corner” is pretty thick but then most of Karen’s books are. I couldn't put this book down, from the very first page I was hooked. I connected with Mallory right away and that situation in the parking lot made my heart hurt. Kate is just amazing and I love that not only is she a sniper but she's not afraid to get dirty when it counts. She cares about her colleagues and doesn't do too well with complements which is one of the reasons I like her. She only knew Decker for a few hours and yet when he gets hurt seriously enough to end up in the hospital, she visits him everyday and listens to his reports. That's what I call dedication and showing support to your fellow agent when things get tough.

There are so many things going on but it does not take away from the story. Everything flows well and gives you an insane picture that will have you thinking at the end “Did that seriously just happen?” Karen Rose keeps you on the edge of your seat with this one. Human trafficking, illegal adoptions, perverts accosting children in the streets, protecting those weaker than you, doing what’s right, fighting against wrong doing and learning that it’s okay to trust people. “Every Dark Corner” has all that and more. You will not regret reading this amazing book. I highly, highly, highly recommend it.

At the end you get a preview of the first book in the Cincinnati series, “Closer Than You Think.”
