"Darkest Night" was an interesting romantic suspense read. Despite what Fiona has been through she is a very strong person. She has had so much happen to her and it’s not even over yet. When her past threatens to destroy her again she decides to fight back instead of running.
Our romance hero Jock “J” is very intriguing. He's been watching over Fiona without her knowledge. It was a little creepy to be sure, but it came from the right pace. The fact that he's attracted to Fiona brings a new deal of problems to their situation. His silence is adorable too, I love that Fiona is able to break him out of it.
From reading "Darkest Night" it’s clear that this is not the first book. More has happened when Fiona meets up with past friends, one of them being Wren. It does not take away from the storyline though. I really enjoyed reading "Darkest Night" and seeing Fiona come into her own. J has some adventures ahead of him and Fiona will definitely keep him on his toes. Don't miss out on this wonderful romantic suspense book.
