Christine Feehan hit it out of the park with this one. "Covert Game" is the next book in the Ghost Walker series. It picks up where Spider Game left off. "Covert Game" kept me on the edge of my seat, I could not stop reading it.
When Zara gets captured after performing a mission to wipe data about the Ghostwalkers, Gino and his team are sent in to get her. The Ghostwalkers have always fascinated me and I just love that Feehan has thrown in females to change things up. They are just as fierce and lethal, if not a little more than the males and it’s great. Having the different characters from other books come together makes it even more perfect. Billisia, Nonny, Joe, Trap, Cayenne, Pepper, the triplets and even Wyatt, I loved visiting them again.
Each character has their own personality and Feehan made it seamless when attitudes and ideas clashed. Even though I hated his guts, I have to admit that Zhu was a worthy bad guy. I hated him from the start and was wishing for his death. It’s scary to know that there are people like him out in the real world.
I recommended this amazing read to anyone who loves adventure, action, kicking ass, family and puzzles.
Treason, torture and temptation haunt the GhostWalkers in their most dangerous adventure yet, as Christine Feehan's #1 New York Times bestselling series hits an explosive new high.
