It was so hard to put this book down, I couldn't wait to get back to Closer Than You Think and wound up reading it in two days. The words just flowed off the page and will forever be in my mind. This is one of those books that will stick with you even years later. The plot is so smooth and well thought out. The author did a great job in letting you know what was happening and whose viewpoint you're looking from. You don’t know what’s going on until the very end, although you may have your suspicions.
It’s a pretty thick book so it was a little hard to hold, especially when you first start reading it and towards the end. My hands got a little tired and I had to switch up to give my wrists a break.
Faith is such a strong person and I got introduced to a new word when it came to Deacon and his family “Waardenburg”. It’s interesting to say the least. I absolutely loved this book and wholeheartedly recommend it. It was just amazing.

Deacon is one of the leads on the case and is a modern day superhero that catches Faith’s attention immediately.
