Catch a Killer

Secret Agents, #2

Hannah is truly amazing. If I had taken all the hits she did, I don't’ think I would have survived. She keeps on kicking while keeping a secret not just from her team but the rest of the world. When her partner dies she packs up and moves to Boston for a better life and to start over. What she gets is a target on her back and shock after shock that still makes me wonder how she’s functioning.

Jack comes back into Hanna’s life expecting a little anger but not the hostility and venom she shoots his way. It isn't until he finds out later why she’s truly pissed at him. He now has to learn how to be a part of Hannah's new life and be a father to their child.

"Catch a Killer" was a thriller the whole way through and you never know who the real killer is until the end. It was great and the plot was perfect. There is a lot going on but it doesn't take away from the main theme. Kris did a very good job portraying the emotions of each character. I didn't even know it was the second book to a series until I read the end. This story does great as a standalone.

At the end of "Catch a Killer" you get a preview of the first book in the series; "Caught by You". The next book in the Secret Agents series is "Deadly Past" which tells the story of Cynthia Deming and Charlie Foulkes. It comes out December 2018.
