This is the first book that I read by Ms. Dean and I did enjoy it. I liked the way that she interwove some serious facts on sleep disorders along with the storyline. Other authors have done the concept of a Dream Wreakers, but.I do like that Ms Dean used some science in the telling of the tale.
Wanting to meet the man that has been on the fringes of her dreams Devon resorts to making a love potion to meet him. Imagine her surprise when it actually works. But there are always consequences to everything.
Cael Oneiros is a Dream Wrecker. His job is to help us dream so we can function normally the next day. He has been watching Devon for seven months. He is stunned to find her talking to him.
Now it seems that everyone in Cael's care is not getting enough rest and the consequences are far reaching. It is going to take Cael, Devon and all of his brothers to fix this. Will they have their happily ever after?
This book is extremely sensual. I like the premise that Ms Dean has with the Dream Wreckers and think that a lot can be done with it. This book was a bit hard for me in the beginning and by the time I got to the end I was really starting to like the characters and the way she dealt with them. I am looking forward to her writing the other brother's stories. I think as she writes more of these books the flow will come more naturally. I liked this book but I could have loved it with a bit more flow of the characters. I loved the interaction between Cael and his brothers would like to have seen more of that with Devon involved. No need to improve on the sex that was sizzling. Can't wait for the next installment.
Each night, Devon Bradshaw dreams of him – her fantasy lover. She can feel his heated gaze on her and hear his deep breaths, yet as consuming as their shared desire is, they can’t connect.
Until she performs a love spell.
Cael Oneiros is stunned when Devon appears on his cosmic plane. For months, he’s watched over her as her Dream Weaver. As a sleeper assigned to his care, his job has been to lead the beautiful redhead into REM sleep. Visiting her each night, though, has led to deeper feelings. He wasn’t supposed to fall in love with her, but he has.
Now every night Devon visits Cael, their connection grows – but even the most innocent of spells can have repercussions.
All around town, people are acting strangely. Tempers are short, and chaos is starting to reign. Nobody is dreaming. Nobody except Devon.
When her dream man shows up in flesh and blood, she has to decide if he’s really the man of her heart… or the demon of her dreams.
Note to readers: This book was previously published under the title What She Wants At Midnight. The story has been updated and significantly expanded.
