Marked Down for Murder by Josie Belle is an enjoyable cozy mystery with a likable cast of characters. The mystery kept me guessing, but it also added a unique twist of complication to the plot. The fact that the woman accused of murder is someone that protagonist, Maggie, doesn't like, her rival in several ways, makes solving the crime an even more challenging prospect, and this draw me into the story.
Belle has created a cast of interesting characters, a whole world of St. Stanley, Virginia, that draws you in. You can't finish the book without feeling like you've visited My Sister's Closet, Maggie's second hand shop, and that you'd like to stop in for a visit again. The book evening includes money-saving tips at the end.
I enjoyed Marked Down for Murder and would like to read other stories in the A Good Buy Girls Mystery series.
