Valiant

New Species Book 3

Tammy lives a simple life in the house she inherited from her grandmother. Her life, while not exciting, is pleasant. That all changes when she's taken by a man-beast that calls her "Mine." While she should be terrified, and initially was scared speechless, she finds herself falling fast and hard for the sexy innocent hybrid. He's lived a life of pain and seclusion and her heart goes out to him. She just doesn't expect herself to be the center of this man's universe, and for him to become hers.

Valiant feels the only good human is a dead one. His fellow New Species are not only attracted to some but are mating them. And marrying them. This he doesn't understand at all until he meets Tammy Shasta. It's suddenly all so clear to him and he goes from roaring to romancing to keep his little human with him always.

This series just keeps getting better. Valiant broke my heart from the first time he appeared in the proceeding story. Tammy is clueless but kind and her lack of awareness of the New Species being limited to the little bit she's read leaves her without preconceptions. She sees Valiant as a man who calls to her and she answers. The story of Valiant and Tammy moved much faster for me than the previous books, but perhaps that's because a lot of groundwork was covered in the previous books.

I really start to wonder who the real animals are in these books as the atrocities the human animal can do in the name of money are laid bare. With more New Species stories in the future, I hope they keep up the same quality as well as snippets about the characters from the previous books dropped here and there. A definite must read.

Book Blurb for Valiant

Tammy has always tried to be prepared for any calamity life might send her way, but a sexy, lion man-beast is way outside the norm. He’s huge, has the most exotic, golden cat-eyes she’s ever seen—and she’s so terrified of him, she’s speechless for the first time in her life. He’s stalking closer, growling at her, and she’s too unnerved to even flee.

Valiant has always hated humans. But when he gets a whiff of the adorable human female who has invaded his territory, he’s forced to reexamine his feelings on the matter. Her fear scents of pure, sweet temptation and the closer he gets, the more appealing she becomes. Once he’s got his hands on her, he isn’t about to let go. One thought will change his life. MINE!

Before Tammy can regain her senses, she’s flat on her back in Valiant’s bed. Now he just has to use every inch of his big, buff body to convince her to stay with him forever.
