Delan is pretty laid back for a hostage of a demon. When the reason for Delan’s captivity is revealed, he’s more amused than anything. Apparently he’s an offering to Riko’s sister Angel. And that’s not just her name.
Angel is the balance needed between Angels and Demons. But she’s leaning toward the demon side and that just won’t do. When Riko formulates a plan to bring out the angel, he captures Delan to perform the task of taming her. Angel is driven by sex, so that’s not an issue. But what she rebels against and fights are tender emotions. And that’s the true danger that Delan presents.
A creative premise sets the stage for an intriguing romp through sexuality. Delan and Angel instantly connect through smoking chemistry, but after their first encounter it becomes more to both of them. With Angel fighting every step of the way Delan leads her to her softer side, and helps to restore balance. But what good is an immortal being in love with a mortal man? With a few twists and turns and a hint at a sequel, I enjoyed this quick and steamy read. And I thoroughly enjoyed Angel’s methods of justice.
