Skylar's Devotion

Roxie's Protectors Series, #4

Braelyn has made it in the modeling industry and as a result has developed "tests" for prospective suitors. The hunk who captures her attention mid-street then follows her into a lingerie store and so begins a whirlwind courtship that will change her life forever. Provided the stalker sending her ominous notes lets her live.

Skylar is a protector and embraces all aspects of his werewolf existence. When he scents his mate he's elated and begins his pursuit. With his boss's rules in his mind, he is determined to do it right. He will not seal the bond until Braelyn knows what he is and what being his mate entails. Until they kiss. Things might not follow the proper order of things after all.

Another winner in the Roxie's Protector's series. Skylar embracing his fate is a complete opposite of his brother's Leif's approach. I can't say which I liked better. Needless to say I loved both. The werewolf who can't control his desire for his mate makes for a hot read. Skylar's determination to do things right made for some hot petting, but if you are familiar with this series you knew he wouldn't be able to hold out. As the story with Miles is put on the backburner we are instead introduced to Braelyn's stalker. The way that Braelyn was introduced to what Skylar is was unusual to say the least, and Roxie's participation added even more drama. Not to be missed.

Book Blurb for Skylar's Devotion

A famous Victoria's Secret fashion model, Braelyn comes home to visit her parents after being away for a year. On a shopping trip, a man on a motorcycle at the red light snags her attention while she crosses the street. When she draws even with him, he flips open the visor of his helmet, and she instantly forgets what she's doing. A blast from a car horn makes her aware she's standing in the middle of the crosswalk, and she quickly gets moving.

Skylar follows the beautiful blonde with his gaze, watching where she goes. Sitting at a red light is not the place he expects to run into his would-be mate, but there she was. Determined not to let her get away, he follows her. He finds it hard enough to deal with her being mortal and not knowing anything about werewolves, but the bigger problem is the stalker who wants to do his famous mate more harm than good.
