Second to None

Remy Frost has known Jason Hawkes since she was a teenager. He’s the man she measures all others against. And she can't have him. An explosive encounter when she was younger had him shoving her away. That pain is what keeps her from letting him close again. She can’t go through that again, and everyone knows he’s a short term kind of guy.

Jason Hawkes did the right thing eight years ago and has been paying for it ever since. Now he’s home for good and can give Remy what she deserves; a man who will actually be there for her. But Remy is of the state of mind of "Hurt me once, shame on you. Hurt me twice, shame on me." There will be no second chance as far as she’s concerned. So Jason is going to have to make her.

Holy cow. I absolutely devoured this quick book. This author hits all my favorite buttons when she writes a story. Alpha male. Strong woman. Resistance. Persuasion. Passion. And then finally love. Always a happily ever after, getting there is all of the fun. If you like your men over the edge forceful and your read hot enough to combust all on its’ own, this book, and really anything this author writes, is just what you are looking for.
