First of all, the Entwined Fates series is fabulous. That said, this latest installment satisfied a personal desire of mine to see what’s up with Devlin Armonde, the emotionally wounded brother of Rhia. Devlin’s fiancé was killed right in front him five years ago, while at the same time he was gravely wounded. He’s done nothing but grieve since.
When attending Rhia’s wedding, Devlin, an empath, experiences a sensation he only had with his deceased fiancé Skylar. How could this be happening? She’s dead, isn’t she?
Skylar woke up wounded five years ago next to a dead body and no memories. Found by Karn, and enslaved to him as a sexual asset, Skylar, now known as Moriana, has vivid dreams of a faceless man with Sapphire eyes. She always feels safe, but when she wakes, the loss and grief overwhelm her. Who was she before five years ago?
Devlin and Skylar’s story was beautiful. People may die, but true love does not. A peak into the lives of the Marcone family was enjoyed as well. Devlin was a fabulous hero. Strong and caring, but don’t mess with him or his. Skylar was also to be admired. She was strong in the face of adversity. And while the man who found her should have protected her; she survived him and his evil. A great illustration that family isn’t just the people you are born to, but those you choose along the way.
Book Blurb for Remember Me
Skylar can't remember anything past five years ago, but lately she's been plagued with sexy dreams of a man with sapphire eyes and hands that make her squirm in pleasure. When she comes face to face with a man with those same eyes, snippets of her past begin to emerge and with them, the desire to experience in real life what she experiences only in dreams.
The empath Devlin is shocked to see the love he'd thought was dead, standing right in front of him. Unfortunately, she belongs to another man, the Baron Karn. She's his sex slave. Devlin isn't about to let that stand in his way of getting Skylar back. In a bold move, he steals her from her current master. Then, using seduction, compassion, and charm, Devlin breaks down Skylar's defenses and help her remember the immense passion they once shared.
Now Baron Karn is determined to have her back...or see her dead.
