Pride and Surrender

Juliet Russo has been hurt, disappointed and abandoned too many times. As a result she’s built an armor around herself. Her emotions are securely locked away and nothing can hurt her ever again. Then she meets Christos. He excites her. Enrages her. Engages her. He makes her burn. And that just won’t do.

Christos Constantine is a man with a mission. Juliet is meant to be his. The chemistry that explodes between them can’t be denied and he doesn’t want to. He’s been pursuing her for a long time and has no intention of giving her up. He’ll fight for he wants, even if his biggest opponent is Juliet herself.

Wow. Guilty Pleasure Alert! This was one of the best books I’ve read in a long time. I was part of the passion and fear that Juliet felt. The determination and tenderness that Christos felt. The first half of the story is foreplay in every possible form. Verbal, physical, emotional. As Christos worked on eradicating Juliet’s walls he also had to be careful to not damage her any further. He wanted to release her spirit not break it. A truly romantic read that will leave you with a faraway look in your eyes and a heartfelt sigh.

Book Blurb for Pride and Surrender

I want no part of messy emotions, of lust and surrender. But none of that seems to matter to Christos Constantine. No matter how much I resist, no matter how much I fight, he keeps coming after me…and I am powerless.

Juliet Russo’s pride and strength of will have always kept her safe. The armor she has built around herself is impenetrable and no one is allowed to see beneath. She has managed to keep Christos and the attraction that simmers between them at bay for two years, but he’s done taking no for an answer.
