Love Under Two Wranglers

Lusty Texas, #23

Another visit to the magical town of Lusty. Holly is relatively new to town, and while she secretly embraces the lifestyle has no basis for comparison. Alan and Duncan aren't looking for that special someone but aren't averse, either. They've seen those around them find their mates and watched them live the dream after the drama. When they see Holly, the attraction is instant as well as the decision to go get their girl.

The author penned several times as part of the inner dialogue of Holly how controversy and lack of communication cause problems in relationships in books. I found that amusing to say the least, and appreciated the author did not employ those features herself. This was a well-paced romance of the slightly different variety and the biggest drama was from Holly's past, and even that had more humor than horror. Neither Alan or Duncan are rich, although they aren't poor, either and are happy to be working men. There is a back story that affects them all, but that was added interest to a well-written quick read that just bumped along with no contrived issues to drive the story. An entertaining read.

Book Blurb for Love Under Two Wranglers

Holly discovers the difference between book boyfriends and real-life lovers when Alan Wilson and Duncan Moore aim for her. Alan and Duncan recognize Holly as theirs. Now they just have to convince the virginal librarian that they can live up to any fictional heroes. As Holly learns to trust those smokin' hot wranglers, she dares to explore her sensual side - the woman within longing to sample all the delights she loved to read about. Alan and Duncan already know that Lusty is home, and once they get to know Holly they understand she's the woman that's always been destined to be theirs. They long to give her the happy-ever-after she's dreamed of. Then their past comes back to bite them in the ass. Years before, they helped uncover a conspiracy, in which racehorses were killed for profit. They didn't take the threats against them seriously then, but they're about to discover just how deadly a woman scorned can be.
