King's Proposal

Shifter Fight League Book 3

This installment is filled with action galore. The back story is coming to a head, the perpetrator is identified and the feces hits the fan, so to speak.

Zara has consistently been a strong and independent woman, but we find out just how far someone can push her until her DNA finally gets off its ass. I have to say I have really enjoyed her character and the determination and sheer intelligence she radiates.

Logan was kind of a disappointment for me in this one, but someone had to be the hero and I can’t complain about who it was. He kind of wimped out in the proposal department and then he went down hill from there. Man up!

Sex wasn’t the forerunner and while I missed it because the author does such a phenomenal job writing those sexy scenes, the story bumped along nicely regardless. I hope there will be another installment showing us how things end up as I felt I was left dangling a bit.

Book Blurb for King's Proposal

To clear her debt, she must marry him...

Still in both Logan’s debt and his bed, Zara hatches a plan to free herself of the King’s clutches. She’s no man’s toy and each time they touch, she aches for something more. But her plan backfires when he offers to clear her debt to him on one condition… she agrees to marry him. Apparently it’s good for PR...

But the solitaire is barely on her finger before she’s snatched away. Someone has other plans for Zara, and they don’t include a happily ever after with Logan. Caged and offered as a prize for a fight, more then her own life could be on the line before the night is through...

He should set her free… but he can’t.

Werelions are fiercely possessive and territorial, and none more so than the King of the Ring, Logan Reese. An alpha through and through, he’s staked his claim to curvy, half shifter Zara Hunter, and he’s not letting go. She’s his woman and he’ll fight to the death for her...

But some battles don’t take place in the ring. Some battles are of the heart, an arena Logan is wholly unprepared for. But when the chips are down and his kitten is threatened… he’ll do whatever it takes to get her back. Even if it means something worse than killing...
