Hearts In Darkness

Makenna is good at her job but it’s eating her alive. When she finds herself trapped in an elevator with a faceless gentleman, she’s forced to slow down. She uses the time to get to know the man with her, a man whose face she’s never seen, and finds herself falling for him. Their enforced time together allows them to experience things that take weeks of dating and they quickly find themselves acting on their mutual attraction. What happens when the lights come back on?

Caden was a sweety and I could just take him home. He’s been through so much, and has built barriers with his looks, piercings and ink but inside is desperately lonely. Being trapped with Makenna is a blessing for him as it forces him to face a phobia while letting in another human being. When the lights come back on these two people, who would never be in close proximity under normal circumstances based on careers alone, are forced to reconcile what they felt in the dark to what they are expected to act like in the light. This was an uber sexy read that had my interest from the beginning and I couldn’t stop reading until the end. A real heart warmer as well as panty warmer.

Four hours...

Caden Grayson is amused when a harried redhead dashes into his elevator fumbling her bags and cell phone. His amusement turns to panic when the power fails. Despite his piercings, tats, and vicious scar, he's terrified of the dark and confined spaces. Now, he's trapped in his own worst nightmare.

One pitch-black elevator...

To fight fear, they must reach out and open up. With no preconceived notions based on looks to hold them back, they discover just how much they have in common. In the warming darkness, attraction grows and sparks fly, but will they feel the same when the lights come back on?
