Flesh

The world ended two months ago. Would you still be alive? Ali is but she doesn’t know how much longer she can make it. While she appears to be kind of naïve what she is is scared to death and more than aware of her value. When Daniel woos her away from her attic she finds out just how far humanity has fallen, just how lucky she is that Daniel did find her, and that he is always looking out for her well being. When Finn enters the picture, things get a little weird but also kind of steamy. Ali is in an unreal but also kind of enviable position.

Scared to death, Ali sneaks out of the attic to find food and water. There is nothing weak about this woman, and I wish I could be as strong as her in a crisis like this. You see, the zombie apocalypse has happened and Ali is one of the last women on Earth. Literally. She knows in the back of her mind she’s a commodity now and when she meets Daniel she fights. But Daniel is one of the good guys. Mostly.

Nothing is black and white anymore, and what was the norm has to be forgotten to survive. But Daniel will protect Ali with all he has, because she’s his future. When he and Ali run into Finn, another survivor with enviable skills, he’s brought into their couple. All the way in. See, monogamy kind of has to go the way of the dinosaur if the human race is to survive. An original and awesome read that was harsh, romantic, funny and graphic.

Book Blurb for Flesh

Ali has been hiding in an attic since civilisation collapsed eight weeks ago.

When the plague hit, her neighbours turned into mindless, hungry, homicidal maniacs.

Daniel has been a loner his entire life. Then the world empties and he realises that being alone isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

Finn is a former cop who is desperate for companionship, and willing to do anything it takes to protect the survivors around him.

When the three cross paths they band together; sparks fly, romance blooms in the wasteland and Ali, Daniel and Finn bend to their very human needs in the ruins of civilisation.

Lust, love and trust all come under fire in Flesh as the three battle to survive, hunted through the suburban wastelands.

This story is rated "Hot" (4 out of 5 flames) and contains M/F/M and F/M pairings.
