A stolen princess is to be auctioned off to the highest bidder. To the rescue is the mercenary hired by her father, Captain Lucien Amanpour. While he successfully outbids all others to get her, he’s also interfered with a plan by his auction adversary, Milash, to distribute his version of justice on her father, the king, for the death of his son years ago. So begins a galactic game of cat and mouse, and hunter and prey.
Princess Kiley is smart enough to keep her mouth shut as to her identity when she is stolen for the slave market, knowing her father will find her. What she doesn’t expect is to be bought by a hot mercenary who makes her mouth water, not to mention his sexy first officer Syeer.
The last thing Lucien wants is to be anywhere near a royal princess. They are all the same, and in his opinion that’s not good. He’s determined to do his job, get the princess home, and get out. That’s until he meets her. It quickly becomes evident she’s more than what he imagined, and he is torn for the first time about having a real relationship with a woman. But his past is a secret he won’t reveal, and he can’t marry a royal. Can he?
Lucien was just downright wicked to Kiley. He doesn’t tell her she’s being rescued and let’s her think he’s bought her to be his sex slave. And then he proceeds to show her what being a sex slave is all about. He and Syeer take her body to places she’s never been, and she’s torn between the pleasure they can give her, and getting home to her father.
Kiley was a great character to read. Struggling with her own wants and what her position as royalty demands, she fought her feelings, but the heart wants what it wants. She was a strong and feisty character, but smart as well. She knows she must wed a royal. How will she ever let Lucien go?
Always a little risqué, Trista Ann Michaels is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors with her emotional and evocative stories. Her latest story will draw you in and keep you reading to the last page.
Sex slave auction hall, Veenori.
Kidnapped, humiliated and scared, Kiley plans to beg the mercenary who'd just bought her to take her home. Promising money beyond his wildest dreams, she haggles for her freedom. Unfortunately, her new master isn't interested in money. He has enough of his own. Instead, he plans to use her body as reimbursement.
Kiley doesn't know her father sent them, so Lucien and his first officer Syeer decide to use that to their advantage and teach the brat Kiley a lesson. With bondage and dominance, they hope to express just how dangerous the galaxy can be for a headstrong princess--especially when another mercenary is determined to use her in his vendetta against her father.
