Edge of Moonlight

Book three in the Lucani Lovers series.

Kaine Giliati has a problem. Well, several. She’s a shifter who can’t shift. She loves a man she can’t ever have. She’s developing new powers that are a legacy from her mother, who she thought was Etruscan but apparently wasn’t. All this combining at once is enough to drive a woman to drink. Which is how she finds herself in a bar confronted with John Simmons, the man she can’t have. Months ago he opted to have his and his sister’s memories wiped off all things magical. And that put Kaine out in the cold.

John can’t understand why he keeps having hot dreams of a woman he’s never met. All he knows is when he sees her in a bar, he must have her and she feels the same. But that starts a chain reaction that he’s not prepared for, and as things unravel, he finds out things he decided to forget. But will he have the strength required of him to keep Kaine this time?

Kaine was a mess, and I really felt for her. While she was miserable, she made an effort not to bring everyone around her down. While John seemed to coldly leave her behind, he regretted it the moment it happened and his dreams gave him what he needed; a connection with Kaine. With revelations galore and pieces of a puzzle being put in place, John and Kaine rediscover one another and learn to trust; something that was sorely lacking the first time around. While John’s sister Evie is unconscious through most of this book, her awakening is coming soon and there is a man earmarked for her already. I look forward to it.

Book Blurb for Edge of Moonlight

Etruscan wolf shifter Kaine Giliati has longed for John Simmons since he willingly agreed to wipe all memory of her from his mind. The pain in her heart is only magnified by terror-the ability to call her wolf appears to have deserted her, as well.

For months after he and his sister escaped a crazed kidnapper, John has been dreaming about a beautiful woman he's never met but who seems so familiar. A woman he's shocked to find in a dark bar one night. A woman who agrees to come back to his apartment for raw, passionate sex.

One erotic, stolen night reopens old wounds, uncovers buried memories and sets Kaine and John on a path filled with danger, magic and potential heartbreak.
