We were first introduced to Nico, the werewolf, and Aylia, the witch in the Warden series; and even though we get a glimpse of these two, Lisa Renee Jones, leaves us wondering on the true nature of Nico’s and Aylia’s relationship.
In the past, Nico and Aylia had a steamy relationship that ended just as abruptly as it started. Nico Moore is at the forefront of his pack, he’s the leader of his pact, and he plays a major part in what happens in the Werewolf Society’s. Aylia Richardson is a witch and she feels that she will never have the life she has always wanted to have with Nico. They come from two different worlds. Plus, she’s destined to die.
I like how this story leaves off from the third Warden story. Lisa Renee Jones tells the compelling story of Alpha Nico and the women he is fated to save and mate with. The characters are believable and the resonances of words and phrases that the author uses has the characters leaping from the pages and has the readers rooting for the alpha wolf and his little witch to conquer all that is holding them back from experiences the joy and love they are destined for.
A witch after his secret. A wolf after her pleasure.
Nico Moore is the leader of of The Werewolf Society's elite Royal Guard. Aylia Richardson is the witch who calls to the beast in Nico, but destiny has also made her the keeper of a gift that threatens the very existence of his race. To destroy this gift will destroy this woman...the only one he has ever dared to call 'mate'.
