Clay Bower is a walking sex machine. He’s the love em’ and leave em’ type… no strings attached; he enjoys sex and he is not ashamed to admit it. Crying, clinging females are not his cup of tea. Amanda Fellinger, sweet and plain, and not at all Clay’s type, or so he thinks. Can one faithful weekend change Clay’s mind and perception of who Amanda is?
Clay and Amanda’s story had an element of surprise for me. Not too often are females able to flip the script like Amanda and come off as the sexy vixen that Amanda is able to portray so expressively without being vengeful or bitter. Clay and Amanda are alike in many ways. They both are demanding sexually and are able to release their inhibitions and get down to hot steamy sex. Clay at times could be cocky and self absorbed, but the author makes attempts to depict him as a lover who pleases or wants to please his partner. Clay’s characters is more developed then Amanda’s, and there’s a deeper in-depth level to Clay then what is first revealed by the author.
This story is set in today’s time so you understand the economic hardship that Clay faces and the importance of family/friendship for him.
The ending is a bit of a shocker, and it leaves me as a reader hoping for a part two into the story of Clay and Amanda.
Clay Bower has an insatiable appetite when it comes to his sexual pleasures. His women need to be wild and hot with stamina that matches his own. He’s not interested in relationships, now or in the future, and even the sexy banker with the quick blush can’t change his mind—not that she’s made any attempt.
Imagine his surprise when he sees the hot banker on stage, shaking assets she normally keeps neatly covered. Better yet, her attention is solely on him, and when she hops off stage and gives him a personal dance, Clay’s blood boils. Turns out he doesn’t know the woman at all…and she’s willing to teach him a few things.
