Displayed is the second book in the Purgatory series. Eliza Gayle has created a BDSM fetish club, Purgatory, and this series focuses on the club and its patrons. She quickly drew my interest with the intrigue that surrounds Em and her love interest, Rio.
Rio is Em's older brother's best friend. She has wanted him for a long time, and she may just get what she has been hoping for. I enjoyed her passionate reactions in the club, as well as her bravery. She was the focus of this story, so I didn't get as close a look at Rio, but I did find him to be an honorable man.
The sex in this book is explosive. Because this is a short novella, the plot and characters are not in-depth, but the passion is mind-blowing. Eliza Gayle writes in a captivating voice and vibrant descriptions, bringing this club and the scene to life in my mind.
If you are looking for a fast read that will leave you more than just a little hot and bothered, then Displayed is the perfect book for you.
