Sweet Spot

Virginia is an up and coming contender on the women’s tennis circuit. She also has a burning attraction to her friend and mentor, Nadia, and hopes the Nadia might feel the same. But there is the problem of Virginia’s anxiety issues, and an unfortunate incident that could very well mean destruction of not only Virginia’s career, but her friendship with Nadia as well.

Sweet Spot is a fast paced novella of two athletically gifted women who move from friends to lovers. As with any great tennis game, there is constant motion and back and forth action within the relationship that moves the plot along.

There are a lot of little subplots within this novella, which usually this spell s disaster for a shorter length story. But Lucy Felthouse is an experienced author who knows how to tell a story, and tell it well. Perhaps this would have been better suited written as a full length novel, or left open to the possibility of a sequel. Still, for anyone who enjoys a hot lesbian story featuring tennis and two likable characters, Sweet Spot is a fabulous read.
