Blake MacDonald is the youngest of four brothers who have recently inherited a large stretch of beach property from their absentee father who has passed away. Each brother has gone off and lived their own lives after a disappointing childhood. A dentist living in Florida, Blake is naturally reluctant to just pack up and move back to Nova Scotia where the memories are not fond. Still, he relents and returns home. Along with his older three brothers, they renovate and open a five star resort called Seaside Escape.
Callie Patterson thought her life was more or less set until her long term boyfriend cheats. Already having a prepaid vacation to Seaside Escape, Callie decides to take the vacation, and use it as a time to think about her life and regroup.
Then she meets Blake.
The attraction is immediate and hot. But then the ex-boyfriend turns up. Will Callie forgive and forget and chalk up the time with Blake as a little much needed fling?
Seaside Passion is book four in the Seaside Escape series. It is a standalone with no cliffhanger. It's a hot little number, well written and thought provoking. The characters are well rounded, each with their own admirable traits and issues. I have to say that I don't believe I have ever read a romance where the hero is a dentist. A nice, short summer time read.
Book 4 in the sexy new series, The Mac Brothers.
