Marnie is the owner of a quaint little home bakery called “For the Love of Fruitcake”. She is in desperate need of an assistant to get her holiday orders out on time. She meets Jinx, a waitress at a local diner, and hires her immediately not knowing that Jinx is really a jinx. After several near disasters, Marnie can’t bring herself to fire the lovable Jinx, and the attraction is mutual. Can they both make it successfully through the busy holiday season, and maybe find love along the way?
Christmas Jinx is a short and sassy female/female romance. It is an absolutely adorable story of two women who are basically opposites, but share loneliness and lack of connection to family or close friends. There is one scorching love scene surrounded by a cute Christmas tale. Well written, and characters I loved, I would definitely recommend Christmas Jinx to anyone looking for a great Christmas read that will bring a smile to your face.
Marnie desperately needs an assistant. As the proprietress of For the Love of Fruitcake, her successful little home bakery, her Christmas orders are piling up as well as a looming Christmas Bakeoff competition.
Marnie is smitten with Jinx, and hires her on the spot. She’s young, sweet, and eager to please. But she’s also a jinx, just like her name.
There must be something Jinx is good at, and that is for Jinx to know and Marnie to soon figure out!
