Daryk Warrior

Daryk World, Book Four

Mia is a scribe, one who knows from being around forbidden lore that most of what the populace is taught is lies. Escaping from Magonia where women are not just repressed by the patriarchal society but broken, she is shipwrecked and separated from her friends. She is found on the beach by Eryck, a daryk one, who, though a warrior by nature, is also caring and naturally protective of women.

How could I not enjoy this romantic fantasy from one of my favorite authors with my favorite cover model perfectly capturing my idea of hunky Eryck?

Despite the fact that I had not read the previous novels in this series, I found this to be a very enjoyable romance. Mia isn’t used to men who treat woman as their intellectual equals nor is she quite as ready for a more progressive society as she thought. A quick acceptance of Eryck and the sensual delights he promised her, would not have been convincing nor made sense to the plot. If you like your fantasy and world-building well-defined, and your alpha males sensitive and sexy, then read this book. I will certainly grab hold of copies of the previous books.

Book Blurb for Daryk Warrior

Mia is having one of the worst days of her life. After surviving a shipwreck during an attempt to escape her oppressive homeland, she finds herself lost, washed ashore on a foreign beach. One misstep almost costs her everything but she’s saved by the strong arms of a lethal Dragonian warrior. Mia, unused to men and desire, finds herself facing an all new challenge in the intensely sexual Daryk One and the undeniable feelings he ignites in her body and her heart.

Eryk is uncertain whether he can trust Mia but is becoming increasingly convinced that the pretty Scribe is more than just a woman who knows how to fuel passion. His burning need to claim and protect her are signs she might be his mate!

In a land on the brink of war, with their very survival on the line, Mia and Eryk find themselves torn between their urgent need for one another and the goals they’ve each sworn to that could so easily tear them apart. Book Length: Novel
