The Girl Who Knew Da Vinci

Out of Time Thriller Series Book 1

"The Girl Who Knew Da Vinci" is an awesome and memorable read! It's creatively penned by Belle Ami. I did not read the notable book by Dan Brown, which I think was a plus in my perspective having now read this book.

This story is a spellbinding historical mystery loaded with sizzling romance. The settings vividly transport the readers to Europe: Paris, Florence and Tuscany.

It is apparent to the reader that Ms. Ami has done extensive research into the history, the art, and the events surrounding the possibilities of acquiring a famous painting missing from a museum during World War II.

Max Jaeger hires an art detective, Alex Caine, to find several pieces of a mysterious puzzle involving a lover, relative and a painting. Alex meets and falls head over heels in lust and love for Angela Renatus... who believes in the paranormal realm. This leads her quest to find out about the painting of Giuliano Medici and his lady love Fioretta Gorini.

The plot thickens and so does the intense heat of sensual behavior between Alex and Angela.

The villain associated with the “what’s what and who’s who” in the art world… Alberto Scordato will stop at nothing to get what he wants in this intriguing tale of suspense and historical paranormal romance.

Will Scordato’s thirst for what he desires of his heart and mind place Angela and Alex in a life and death situation? Only time will tell.

I encourage you to read this very interesting thriller to discover if all involved can possess love, lust and the pursuit to happiness and art.

I enjoyed my European art experience and therefore give this read 4 stars.

In the spirit of The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown and the Art Forger by B. A. Shapiro . . . The Girl Who Knew Da Vinci by Belle Ami unravels an unforgettable mystery.

Three destinies, one remarkable painting.

Will her visions lead her to the truth?

Art historian Angela Renatus, is haunted by dreams of Leonardo da Vinci and a mysterious painting of Giuliano Medici and his mistress Fioretta Gorini. A painting that, as far as the world knows, doesn't exist. Compelled by her visions, Angela is determined to find out the truth.

When Angela is contacted by art detective Alex Caine, she's shocked to learn that he too is seeking the same painting. Alex's client, a wealthy German financier, is determined to clear the name of his late uncle, Gerard Jaeger, an art historian, who went missing in Florence, during World War II. In letters written before his disappearance, the historian describes his love affair with a beautiful young Italian woman named Sophia Caro and the discovery of an extraordinary painting by the great master himself-a painting depicting Giuliano and Fioretta.

Angela and Alex journey to Florence in search of the priceless treasure. Is it a lost da Vinci, potentially worth hundreds of millions of dollars, or a wild goose-chase that will only lead to a dead end? But someone else is searching for the elusive painting-Alberto Scordato is a powerful man in the art world and a sociopath who will stop at nothing to get what he wants, even murder. Scordato knows something about Angela that even she doesn't know, something that could threaten both Angela and Alex's lives, forcing them into the crosshairs of fate.
