Heart Unloched is an enchanting and engaging read by a very creative author, Claire Gem. One thought bounced on my mind as I read and feasted on Heart Unlocked. It’s a quote by H. Jackson Brown, Jr. "Sometimes the heart sees what is invisible to the eye."
This is so true, in my honest opinion. Heart Unloched made me think of this quote because very often things occurred throughout this magical story that most readers may not be as open to accepting. The reason being that many individuals limit themselves to the standards of reality. They can’t see beyond that.
The characters in this paranormal narrative have everything a reader of this genre will enjoy. The spunk built into the characters' personalities are ones that make Heart Unloched a charismatic yet tear producing story. Quickly the narrative develops and the plot thickens.
One of my weak spots that touched my heart when reading Heart Unloched was the relationships and the compatibility of Kate and her young tender, sensuous gentlemen. I felt the rush along with the multi-cultural influences Ms. Gem created so that there is a rich fabric for the storyline. As this entangled web of the supernatural unfolds the visuals of the lovemaking and gorgeous settings rustled and rattled my memory leaving its indelible mark kept me. All the way up until the last page I was hooked into the story. Heart Unloched is undulating, pulsating and provides goosebumps. I have to say that my peers enjoyed my review of Heart Unloched.
I give this brilliant story 4.5 stars because of its well written and keenly developed characters. Also the settings in New York, rising action, and strong plot make this exciting paranormal book.
