Mr. Wonderful Husband, Jack is a prominent attorney and Mrs. Sweet, Gentle Wife, Grace is totally in love with the man of her dreams. Jack can take care of Grace's every need and his kind heart is capable of getting any woman to fall head over heels in love. Unfortunately, Grace focused on the beautiful view of the world through her designer, elegant rose colored glasses. She missed the numerous cautious road signs ahead of her.
Jack is a planner and man who knows every spot and crack on the rice paper that could contain delicious vegetables. Jack is cunning and creates a diabolical scheme, which may lead to Grace being held captive and treated horribly. Jack is watchful of Grace's every move, but she can't get a straight answer from him about his missing whereabouts. Wouldn't that be a signal for Grace to examine at least mentally “Why Jack is so dishonest and evil?”
Is Jack a monster dressed in “Hero Attire”? Just look at the way he appears to treats Grace and Millie, her special needs sister?

B.A. Paris did an extraordinary job of creating a tale of pain, both past and present. Paris shows those things that can shape ones personality to be different, difficult, deceitful and dangerous. I was enthralled with the creepiness of “Behind Closed Doors”.
