"Ride It Out" is the fourth and last installment of the Desert Dogs series. This is one of my favorite romantic suspense series done by one of my favorite authors. I had high expectations for this book and I pleased that they were met.
The writing was excellent and the plot unfolded perfectly. I really liked both Miah and Nicki. They were well developed and a bit different than what we usually see in this genre. It was nice to see a heroine that was a single mom.
The romance is a slow burn that develops out of friendship. It was quite sweet in places and it was done in the best kind of way.
This book could be read as a standalone but I think it would be better if you had read the previous books. There is an ongoing plot arch that might be a bit hard to follow if you haven't read the others.
Overall a great read and a series that I would definitely recommend for fans of both romance and romantic suspense genres.
