This was a great end to this series. End of Days picks up right where World After ends. Penryn and Raffe are in a race to get his wings back, to protect her family and to find some sort of solution to the problems they're all in. The story was fast paced and exciting and I had a hard time putting it down.
One of my favorite things in this series is how detailed the imagery is. Everything is so stark and you can feel the sadness and fear they all feel. We get quite a lot of Raffe and his Watcher's pasts and it was just terrible to read. The characters are so well done. Of course I love Penryn and Raffe but my heart also broke for Beliel and as always I was fascinated by Penryn's crazy mom.
There wasn't anything I did not like about the story. If you've been reading this series you will enjoy this ending. If you have not read books one and two, don't read this book. This series needs to be read in order starting with Angelfall. Trust me on the fact that you will love this UF series.
