This is a novella in the Hidden Legacy series and works as a transitional story to the upcoming Catalina Baylor series as well as a wrap up of the Nevada Baylor plot line. Nevada and Conner are getting married and Catalina is a bridesmaid. When Nevada's family heirloom tiara turns up missing Catalina is determined to find it at all costs.
This was well written and super entertaining. As usual this author duo put out another great quality story. The writing and plot were engaging. I loved seeing Conner and Nevada getting their happily ever after. I was also excited to see where we'll be going with Catalina. The ending of this author's Kate Daniels series this year was super sad for me so I'm glad to see other series beginning.
This isn't really a standalone. I guess it could be but I wouldn't recommend it. I think you'll enjoy it more if you've read the three full novels of the series.
Nevada Frida Baylor and Connor Ander Rogan cordially invite you to join their wedding celebration. Summoning, weather manipulation, and other magical activities strictly forbidden.
Catalina Baylor is looking forward to wearing her maid of honor dress and watching her older sister walk down the aisle. Then the wedding planner gets escorted off the premises, the bride’s priceless tiara disappears, and Rogan's extensive family overruns his mother’s home. Someone is cheating, someone is lying, and someone is plotting murder.
To make this wedding happen, Catalina will have to do the thing she fears most: use her magic. But she’s a Baylor and there’s nothing she wouldn't do for her sister's happiness. Nevada will have her fairy tale wedding, even if Catalina has to tear the mansion apart brick by brick to get it done.
