This was a really good start to a new series. Trey is a musician heading to a big competition with his band. They're having problems because they've just lost their drummer to their biggest rivals. One night playing in a local bar Trey watches an amazing violin player named Dom. The two young men end up playing together on stage and then hanging out together. Their night of musical passion leads to another kind of passion and they find themselves really attracted to each other. Imagine Trey's surprise when he finds out Dom is in the rival band.

Not only do the two guys end up having a secret affair but Trey is in the closet as well. As the bands head to the music festival things come to a head and they both have to make some big decisions.

I thought this story was a lot of fun. This author tends to do stories that have a lot of angst and dramatic events. This was no exception to the rule although I did feel it was toned down a bit for this story. I liked both of the main characters as well as all their friends and families.

The romance between the two guys was sweet in places and smoking hot in others. I enjoyed this a lot and I'm looking forward to the other books in the series.
