Abercrombie Zombie

I admit it. I picked this book totally based on its title. I found myself pleasantly surprised at what a good read it was.

This book was a fun, shorter read. All of the characters were engaging and likable. The plot moved along at a good pace and was entertaining. I enjoyed the love story aspect also and these two guys were really good together. If you're looking for a different but good kind of read I think you should check this one out.

Quinn McConnell and Hunter Janz are psychics who work together on various projects. One of which is working with the police department to seek out the spirits of murder victims in an effort to find out who killed them. Both Quinn and Hunter are psychic but they have different skills that play off of each other.

In addition to being business partners the two men are friends but Quinn wants to take it to the next level. He's been in love with Hunter for years and except for one incident a long time ago nothing has ever happened between the two men. As they work on this particular case Quinn finds himself thinking it may be time to move on if he can't get his feelings for Hunter under control.

While working on this case the men are approached by another man who claims he can help them. He also claims to be a zombie. A zombie name Dustin DeWind (yes I admit I thought that was pretty funny too). The two men end up working with Dustin and in addition to helping with their cases it seems he might just be a matchmaker also.

Book Blurb for Abercrombie Zombie

For psychic mediums Quinn McConnell and Hunter Janz, dead folks pay the bills… barely. To make it into the financial comfort zone, they need an edge over their competition, and, as far as Quinn is concerned, some resolution to the sexual tension and unrequited love wreaking havoc with his psychic reception. Salvation comes in the form of dapper Dustin DeWind, a zombie who can obviously see and converse with the departed. In return for Quinn’s and Hunter’s help in finding the man who made him, he promises to steer them toward the elusive spirits that are their stock in trade. But once they forge an uneasy alliance, it almost seems Dustin is also nudging them toward each other….
