Here’s a great way to help a youngster hone his or her observation skills. This search-and-find book challenges the child to find the image that doesn't fit into each page of graphics. For example, the child might be asked to locate a monkey with bandages or a cross eyed lemur.
The rhymed text identifies each grouping of animals and indicates what the child is looking for in each picture. The book has a nice retro feel to it and the graphics are colorful and very attractive.
The only problem with this book is that after a number of readings the child will know exactly where to find the “odd one out” and then this volume may not be as amusing or interesting for the youngster.
