Eagle's Heart

Salomeh Jones is a high school teacher with a kind heart. When she realizes one of her students is being mistreated she takes a stand, determined to put a stop to it. She didn't realize she would be coming up against a major crime lord. She quickly finds herself fired and labeled a child molester for all her troubles. The student goes missing and Salomeh’s own life is on the line.

Julian Tamali and his FBI partner are on the case. He is there to bring down the same man who is ruining Salomeh’s life. He doesn't know how she’s connected, but moments after meeting her, he is convinced she’s an innocent who’s been caught in the web. He wants this to be true because sparks are flying. The only problem is that Salomeh has no idea who he really is and he’s got to tell her in order to keep her safe. Can they get past the dishonesty and also escape the mayhem with their life?

This was a very enjoyable story. Julian was a very interesting character. Salomeh had some very humorous moments as well. At first I thought she was acting a bit silly in the midst of danger, but by the end of the book I really liked both the characters. The only complaint I had was the ending. After all the danger and drama it seemed Salomeh and Julian’s ending was a little nonchalant and quick. Nonetheless, it was still worth the read and anyone who likes romance or interracial romance will like this book.
