Walker Parrish and country singer Casey Elders have had a hard past as far as relationships are concerned. Walker is not satisfied with the circumstances of their current estranged relationship but makes no real moves to fix it. Casey is living the life of the famous and has chosen that path rather than being with Walker. However, their tale goes much deeper than that. Casey has two children who believe they do not have a father. Casey told them that she chose a sperm donor and had them in a clinic. Nonetheless, Walker is always standing in the distance as the close family friend. Will Casey every come around; tell the kids the truth about their father? And if she does will life ever be the same?
This book was a fun and smooth read. I enjoyed the story line. Strangely enough I found the children’s dialogue the most interesting. As I was reading the story, I was so captivated by the children. The characters were well developed and the story flowed very well. For anyone who is looking for a good romance read this is a book I recommend.
