Tempest in a Teapot

A Teapot Collector Mystery, #1

I absolutely love cozy mysteries. The author wrote this one with characters that are well-created. They are absolutely human and have all the little oddities of regular people.

Our heroine Sophie returned to her "home town", the place she growing up. She was thought of to many as a "poor little rich girl" who didn't attend public school, but attended private school.

During the years she has been away from the 'home town' she had had some wins and some definite falls. She had lost her fancy restaurant in New York and she went to her grandma's place and the tea house which had long been around the town.

There is a very unhappy old woman who dislikes her grandmother, which creates some snags in her idea.

Then we also have a murder in which some of Sophie's friends, while visiting Gracious Grove, or GiGi as the young people called it, were involved in.

I have to say that the cover with the cat and the lovely tea pots is such an eye catcher. Overall this was just a wonderful mystery.
