Amy Lillard gives us characters in “Loving a Lawman” that the reader can definitely relate to. Characters so well described that you feel as though you are part of their lives. You can picture the scenes as though you are there in the middle of them. Even their clothes are described to a "T". You can picture Jessie's worn cowboy booths and her cutoff jeans.
